The Colors of Taylor

I'm the artist, it's me. The power of color has always captivated me. Like most '90s kids, my childhood bedroom was a colorfully-explosive reflection of my soul. I'd bring home fistfuls of free paint swatches from the store – then tape them up on my walls and rearrange colors for hours. At one point, each wall in my room was painted a completely different color. Looking back, maybe those walls were emblematic of my own 'eras'. Shit got real when I layered glitter on top of the trim (sorry Mom and Dad).

As an adult, color inspires me every day. I've learned a lot about the science of color theory along the way, and it informs my daily life and work.

The items in this collection are a purposeful collision of two things I can't live without: color + music. I realized that I was doing some of my best creative work while listening to Taylor Swift. So one afternoon I opened Illustrator. My grid-obsessed mind kicked into high gear, and I let the Colors of Taylor take me away. The rest is history.
